In-Person Drypoint Class
Connect with the 500-year-old tradition of printing from copper, and create your own original print!
This course introduces students to the art and process of drypoint printmaking with hands-on, in-person classes.
In this class you will learn to:
- Prepare a copper plate for printing
- Transfer a sketch to the plate
- Develop your image using traditional and non-traditional tools
- Ink and print your plate on acid-free paper.
Includes 3 hours of instruction, all materials needed to create a 4" x 6" print, and the use of shop tools during class. In addition, students receive a 10% discount on tools and supplies purchased within one month of the class.
